I am drawn to serving at CLT Clubhouse because of the secure environment that it provides others who have struggled with or are experiencing mental health challenges. The CLT Clubhouse is truly a place where people are met where they are in terms of their mental health. From my own experiences with mental health, I understand the significance that support and community has in one’s resilience. I firmly believe that people are designed to need people. Life is about community and connection which is something that is highly valued within this non-profit. I find so much satisfaction when forming relationships with the CLT Clubhouse members, and am inspired to grow in my passion for serving others.
